Our hospital organized a bazaar to raise awareness about chronic mental illnesses in the society and to change the perspective towards these individuals.
The bazaar, which is traditionally held at the end of each year in our hospital, where the products made by our psychiatric patients with their own handicrafts are exhibited, started at the 1st floor polyclinics gate pastry shop entrance. At the invitation of Halime Kahraman, Clinical Chief Nurse of the Department of Mental Health and Diseases, Hospital Chief Nurse Fatma Düzgün, Assistant Chief Nurse Ergül Tunalı and hospital clinical chief nurses also participated in the bazaar, where our medical faculty students sell the products together with our patients. The bazaar, which attracts high interest from the public, will continue tomorrow.
